2606 Odessa (1976 GX2) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on April 1, 1976 by Nikolai Stepanovich Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.[1] This asteroid was named in honour of the black Sea port city of Odessa.[6]
